My Favorite Game

My favorite game that I have played is probably Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II. It is a real-time strategy game that is played by building a settlement, creating an army, and then destroying your opponents settlement. I estimate that the production of this game lasted about two to four years, but have been unable to find the exact time on the internet.

Demo

While I have not actually learned anything new during the rpoduction of our game demo, I have strengthened the things that I was already aware of. The pupose of our game was not to help us learn, but to make it easier for others that do not already have a firm understanding of our subject matter.

Using Civics Ideas in STEM

Civic can easily be incorporated into STEM. One could make a game that deals with managing credit, a game that explains the relationship between technological advances and citizen rights, or a game that talks about technological advancement and its correlation with living conditions.

Favorite Gaming Example

I prefer to play the Xbox 360 over the other gaming systems. I like it more because of the multiplayer experience over the internet, and the graphics that it has. I typically spend a few hours a week playing Xbox.
