Link to Animation
This animation is based on projectile physics, which is exactly what our game is on. Looking at it gives me an idea for what it is that I am going to have to do in our game.

Visual Storytelling
As individiduals will look at our game demo, they will see a series of scenes that will present them with an introduction of our game. While our game itself is technically not a narrative, in a way it could be interpreted as such. Now that I think about it, The Codex of Alchemical Engineering made use of this strategy of visual storytelling as well. Through my experience as one who plays video games on occaision, I have noticed that almost every game that I have played utilizes this.

While working on my game, I have learned a lot about how different forces come together to produce a certain outcome. I came to this understanding by researching the topic of our game, which is projectile physics. I made use of a physics book that I know I am going to be using next semester in my Physics class. I know that this "understanding" is going to be trustworthy, because it is a source that students use almost everyday to further there knowledge.

Paper Prototyping
This week we've been working on our paper protypes. I find these very helpful because the allow us to get a look and feel of what it is that we are trying to do. Without this, I have a feeling that we would have been stumbling along and would have had a lot of difficulties.

Of the two games that I have played today, "The Codex of Alchemical Engineering" was my favorite. I really enjoyed the way in which in required thought and understanding of basic functions. On the other hand, I was not a fan of the other game that I played. This game is called Zeitgeist. While the concept was fun, I found it much to difficult to enjoy leisurely play.
